Configure and install the MCP server for your preferred client

Client-specific instructions

Follow the instructions below for your specific MCP client

Navigate to Settings, then Cursor Settings
Select MCP on the left
Click Add new global MCP server at the top right
Copy and paste the server config to your existing file, then save

Available tools

Add all 3 actions as tools in your MCP client

Create a Room

Creates a room. The authenticated user is automatically added as a member of the room. See the docs here

Create Message

Post a plain text or rich text message, and optionally, a file attachment, to a room. See the docs here

List Messages

Retrieve messages in a specific room. See the docs here
